Finding your dream job in IT – and how to do it

What does it take to find a job? How do you stand out in a crowded field? Should you even accept the offer you have been given? There are many considerations to be had when one is actively searching for a job. But perhaps a job searching opportunity is also an opportunity to review one’s goals and ambitions. To consider what exactly it is one wants from life. It is too common for humans to accept the next best thing, just for the paycheck. There is no shame in this, as we all must keep the lights on somehow. But in today’s world, opportunities abound, and I hope to be able to illuminate some of the ways you can go about finding the perfect job for yourself. One where you are in lockstep with your employer and one that leaves you feeling fulfilled.

Speakers

Mirza Cirkinagic is 40 years old and has been living in Denmark since 1993. Originally from the former Yugoslavia, he has since become far more Dane than anything else. However, he can personally relate to many of the challenges faced by expats today. Throughout his career, he has often served the role of guidance counselor to many expats braving the Danish system. Today, he hopes to impart on you some of the experiences and knowledge he has picked up along the way when it comes to finding the perfect job.
