About

International Citizen Days is part of the national month of Welcome September and organised by International House Copenhagen. The event is co-funded by the European Union’s Interreg ØKS programme as part of the Cross-border Talent Bridge project along with the European Social Fund and The Danish Board of Business Development with financial contributions from great partners.

International House is specialised in the reception and retention of international talent. The objective is to provide international newcomers with the best possible start to life in Greater Copenhagen by giving them the comfort of a one-point entry.

Acknowledging the need to better attract and retain international talent for Danish companies and universities, International House Copenhagen was established in 2013.

The house is a broad partnership that rethinks public organisations, focusing on the target group: international talents (employees, job seekers, students and their accompanying spouses) in Greater Copenhagen.

The vision is to ease the relocation process by providing a one point entry for newcomers in the entire region. This is done by offering internationals in Copenhagen and in a large number of municipalities in Region Zealand and the Capital Region of Denmark
