The Danish Approach to Salary Negotiation

In this talk, Nicole Sander from the trade union IDA and Mirza Cirkinagic, union secretary from the trade union Prosa will guide you to better navigate your salary negotiation. The two speakers have strong insight into the Danish labour market and professional working life, as the tradeunion IDA represents professionals within engineering, IT and technology, while the trade union PROSA represents IT professionals.

With their year long experience advising members on contracts, salary and working conditions, the speakers will share practical knowledge about employment as a salaried worker and how to understand your contract.

You will also get practical tips on how to prepare for a salary negotiation, how to understand salary levels, and what alternatives you can suggest if the salary proposal does not meet your expectations. 

By the end of the talk, you will have a clearer understanding of your options and feel more confident when navigating salary negotiations in Denmark.
