The Essentials to Starting Life in Denmark
In this co-presentation, experts from International Citizen Service East (ICS East), part of International House Copenhagen, and The Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration (SIRI) will walk you through the key requirements for starting life in Denmark — from entry permits to everyday essentials.
Josephine Fie Lund Leviné from ICS East will cover essentials like what a CPR number and MitID is, why you need them, and how to get them, as well as giving you an overview of the career guidance, events, and other services provided to newcomers by the house.
Frederik Gammeltoft and Mohamed Lahksassi from SIRI will guide you through the number of options available for getting a work permit in Denmark, what the main work permit schemes are, and provide you with basic information on how to proceed, focusing on schemes for non-EU citizens.
This talk is ideal for anyone planning a move to Denmark, or who has recently arrived and wants a clear overview of the administrative steps needed to get started.
This is an online event only, consisting of a 30-minute talk followed by a 15-minute Q&A where you can ask our expert any question about the topic at hand. Do note that the chat will be turned off during the entire event. Instead, use the Q&A section in the top menu to submit your questions.
