Money Matters: A Beginner's Guide to Danish Banking

How do you open a bank account in Denmark, what is a NemKonto, and why are MitID and e-Boks such an important part of everyday life?

In this talk, you will be guided by Kasper Kjær and Daniel Uhrenholdt from Danske Bank, who has many years of experience as advisors. 

You will hear about what is typically required to open a Danish bank account, how payment cards and mobile banking work, and how services such as NemKonto, MitID and e-Boks are connected to both your finances and your contact with public authorities.

The talk will also introduce the first steps of buying a home in Denmark. You will get an overview of different housing options, financial requirements, relevant rules and taxation, as well as an introduction to the Danish mortgage system.

This is an online event only, consisting of a 30-minute talk followed by a 15-minute Q&A where you can ask our expert any question about the topic at hand. Do note that the chat will be turned off during the entire event. Instead, use the Q&A section in the top menu to submit your questions.
